Media Arts Fright Fest presented by the Media Arts Council
MEDIA – Fall Fright Fest 2022 is coming to Media Borough Hall, Saturday, October 8, from 2-11 p.m. with a full day of scary vendors and indie horror shorts.
This year, Fright Fest will feature 17 independent horror shorts from eight countries: Austria, Belarus, Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain, UK and USA. Various genres are represented, including psychological horror, serial killers, creatures, folk tales, comedy/horror, and more. Filmmakers will also be present.
Starting at 2 p.m., the vendors’ showcase, “Delco’s Arcade of Unearthly Delights,” showcases local artisans and their spooky and macabre wares.
At 7 p.m., the cinematic portion of Fall Fright Fest begins with two 90-minute blocks of horror shorts.
Media Fright Fest Co-Chair Karen Chiarini said, “I am pleasantly surprised each year with the film submissions we receive and review. It never fails to amaze me how much a story can be told in minutes.
Lisa Pietras, Co-Chair of Media Fright Fest, added, “We bring together talented local artisans and international filmmakers to celebrate all things spooky, weird and wonderful. Media Fright Fest is Delco’s home for horror.
