Let credit inquiries be deleted from the private credit
If you make loan inquiries via comparison portals, online appearances of banks or during a consultation at a bank branch, this issue is usually reported to the private credit. Sometimes there is a desire to have such a loan request deleted at the private credit. If this makes sense and a deletion is possible, learn here.
As long as you do not make a specific loan application to a bank or savings bank, loan inquiries are generally reported to private credit as “request credit terms”. When making inquiries about comparison portals, the standard and for direct online inquiries to banks is also common.
Condition requests – premature deletion makes no sense
Such condition request messages are kept for one year and then automatically deleted without you having to do anything about it. Condition requests are only recognizable to the bank where you made the request. Other banks and savings banks can not see it. The recorded reports also have no influence on the rating of your creditworthiness by private credit using a scoring procedure.
Therefore, there is no reason to have condition request entries deleted at private credit. Because they have no influence on your credit opportunities and on the loan terms. It looks different when a message “request credit” occurs. Such reports are often made when a concrete loan application is submitted. In the case of online loan applications, the notification usually does not take place until the bank has received the written application documents together with supporting documents. In personal counseling sometimes a distinction between the message “request credit conditions” and “request credit” is sometimes different.
Only wrong and obsolete entries can be deleted
Such “real” credit requests also remain in the private credit file for one year before they are deleted. Other banks and savings banks can recognize the report for ten days after registration. In addition, the “request credit” can influence the private credit scoring. This is the case when many credit inquiries are reported within a short time. They worsen the “calculated” credit rating and thus the prospects for a favorable credit. Therefore, the desire is understandable to have such a loan request deleted at the private credit.
However, this is usually not possible. private credit entries can only be deleted “out of line” if they are proven to be wrong or outdated. In the case of credit inquiries, this is only conceivable if a bank has erroneously reported a “request for credit”, even though a condition request was submitted. You can determine which data is stored by private credit if you request self-disclosure according to § 34 of the Federal Data Protection Act. The private credit is obliged to give them once a year free of charge.
